I had a tetanus shot near iii-4 weeks ago, later cutting my pollex desperately plenty to go to the ER. I had no reaction at the time at all. Now, for the past week I take had occasional pain in that arm, about where the injection site is. Sure movements bring it on. It is depression-grade, maybe a one-2/10 but nonetheless it is there. Information technology is slightly painful if I push on the spot. If anyone had a tetanus shot equally an adult, did you have a similar reaction? I will mention it to my PCP when I see her in February. if it is still there but was hoping for a quicker answer that it was normal! I tin can hope, right?

I had a tetanus shot a few weeks ago. I had a hard lump about the size of a pocket-size orage at the injection site for shut to a calendar week. I also had slight pain, more like an ache for a week or so.

Did you simply become tetanus or was it the dip/pertussis, likewise? Used to be until recently we were merely boostering the tetanus, but now since so much of the adult population aren't sporting acceptable titers (esp to pertussis), they are giving all 3 once again. Information technology's the combo that creates a longer lasting, more than painful injection site reaction. I had mind for over a week - something that never happened with the pure tetanus vaccine in the past.

Thank you Stan. I don't know what I got, they said "tetanus" and since information technology was a Baylor ER, i would hope they would be authentic in their linguistic communication. However, I will call them and ask. I like to know what I become.

I had a tetanus shot back on Aug 20th of this year. I was not surprised that I had some discomfort in the surface area for a few days simply it did non get better, in fact information technology spread to a larger area and my range of motion continued to decrease. A month of PT, 3 times a week did nothing to improve the state of affairs. Adjacent end - an orthopedic surgeon - since they doubtable that it is in fact a torn rotator cuff. I accept 2 close friends who underwent the procedure in the by twelvemonth and neither of them had sustained any detail injury to the area, rather is was more than like a irksome fraying of the muscles/tendons/ligaments over time and to the point that the shoulder joint no longer functioned properly. So if this trouble persists don't look like I did, get back to the dr and see what they have to say. The recovery process from the surgery has been virtually 8 to 10 months for both of my friends. We are all very active members of the humane society and starting to wonder if information technology's contagious. Looks similar I'm adjacent on the list. ps: I promise your status is just a temporary ane that resolves itself pronto.

tadp pain for 3.5 weeks I had a tetanus booster 3.5 weeks ago and have terrible pain down the arm if I lift my arm with a bent elbow. I am on the last twenty-four hour period of a prednisone pack and was feeling somewhat better but now everything has come back. I know I'll practice physical therapy and take been warned of frozen shoulder only what is this all nearly? Last time I had a booster I was mildly sore for 2 days. I think the nurse may have nicked a ligament or tendon and am concerned it will not be fixable.

I received a tetanus booster on sept 1 2022 due to a work I jury. The MA administered the shot way too high into my shoulder and striking something with the needle that hurt soo bad and made my torso involuntary jolt abroad. I told her how bad that it hurt and held dorsum tears. She just said tetanus hurts and walked out. It'due south been a month.now of losing work hours and dealing with pain when I use my arm. I but had an MRI yesterday and will find out the results tomorrow. I take a lawyer we are just waiting on the results to keep with a lawsuit. This is the worst matter that could ever happen to anyone. dealing with the constant pain and loss of income I am starting g to drown financially. Workman's comp has yet to pay me for the days I've missed at work. I wouldn't wish this i my worst enemy.
